South Korean skater Lee Kyu-hyuk appointed Honorary Ambassador of 2018 Olympics

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Four-time world champion in the all-around sprinter South Korean skater Lee Kyu-hyuk has been appointed Honorary Ambassador of the Olympic Winter Games in 2018, which will be held in Pyeongchang, reports TASS.
Lee Kyu Hyuk will be the seventh honorary ambassador of the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, including - the famous baseball player Chu Xing Su and famous figure skater Kim Yu-Na, the statement reads. In 2007 Lee Kyu-hyuk held this prestigious post during the global tender (which chose the venue for the Olympic Winter Games in 2018). After the Sochi Olympics the 36-year-old athlete announced his retirement from professional sport.
