South Korean doctors hold 20 operations in E Kazakhstan

Three more surgery operations are scheduled for tomorrow. Professor Hang Chang Seok and Doctor Ho Chang Jin came from South Korea. In addition, they plan to perform similar surgeries in the city of Semey. Doctors offer consultations and surgical operations in Ust-Kamenogorsk, Semey and Shemonaiha. According to the regional health care department, it is planned to explore about 100 patients before July 19. Vadim Ovsyannikov, head of the health department, said that the South Korean specialists' visit to East Kazakhstan was made possible owing to the memorandum signed with the clinic Gangnam Severance University of South Korea. Therefore, eight East Kazakhstani specialists have completed training in South Korea in oncology, emergency care, anesthesiology and resuscitation. Last year, South Korean doctors donated the regional hospital an ultrasound machine worth 50 thousand dollars. During their visit to Kazakhstan South Korean doctors plan to hold meetings with the Korean community of Ust-Kamenogorsk. In addition, it is scheduled to organize a round table with local physicians. Tonight South Korean doctors will meet with the Mayor of the East Kazakhstan region Berdybek Saparbayev.
