Sonja Zhiyenbayeva wins ITF Madrid Tournament

Kazakhstani tennis player Sonja Zhiyenbayeva emerged victorious at the ITF Madrid Tournament 2024, Kazinform News Agency learned from Sport Plus Qazaqstan.
In the final match, she beat Alice Gillan from Great Britain in three sets - 6:1, 5:7, 6:1.
This became Zhiyenbayeva's seventh win in her career.
Earlier, another Kazakhstani tennis player Zhibek Kulambayeva defeated 6:3, 0:6, 6:4 Julia Riera from the host nation at the W50 Pilar Tennis Tournament 2024 in Argentina.
