Some sectors of Kazakhstan's economy lack skilled personnel - MP
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani MP Bishimbayev believes that institutions providing low quality education should be held liable.
On Wednesday, member of Majilis, the lower chamber of the Kazakh Parliament, Mr. Valikhan Bishimbayev told a press briefing at the Central Communications Service it is necessary to introduce a norm under which institutions providing low quality education will be held liable for it. "The domestic labor market is full of unemployed people with higher education, however, some sectors of Kazakhstan's economy still lack skilled personnel. In other words, the national system of education is detached from the real sector of economy," he elaborated. "All graduates should find a niche for themselves. If the education does not meet the requirements, if it is low quality, someone will have to assume responsibility for it," the majilisman noted. "The goal of the parliament is to develop such mechanisms that would enable education and economy to go hand in hand," he added.
