Social progress should be measured through spirituality - Nazarbayev

Making a speech at the III Congress of World and Traditional Religions' Leaders he noted that those factors should become the main mechanisms of post-crisis revival of the world. "Suspiciousness, religious or other discrimination should not exist in the new world. It will be the society, where the progress will be measured not only through material values, but through rectitude and responsibility of people", the President noted.

According to him, along with the leading powers the other states should also take part in formation of the new world order. Alongside with the measures on establishment of new currency and transfer to more efficient economic planning, the plan of radical renewal should consists of innovations in the spiritual sphere, enrichment of cultures", the President stressed.
