Snow, fog, ice slick to rule the day in Kazakhstan

Storm, fog, and strong wind up to 15-20 mps are expected in Kostanay region. Ice up, strong wind with gusts up to 15-20 mps with a snowstorm will persist in North-Kazakhstan region of the country. According to forecasters drifting snow and wind up to 15-20 mps will rule the day in Pavlodar region. Fog will blanket Atyrau, West Kazakhstan and Karaganda regions. Fog, ice spots and stiff wind are expected in South Kazakhstan region. Ice spots and fog are forecast for Zhambyl, Mangystau, Kyzylorda, and Akmola regions. In Zhalanashkol area of Almaty region wind will increase to 17-22 mps. Fog will blanket the area nighttime. Foggy weather will persist in East Kazakhstan region on Monday January 19.
