Snow and ground blizzard to batter Kazakhstan

Snow is forecast to batter the country's north, east, and southeast while a ground blizzard is predicted to sweep through the north. 

Weather without precipitation is expected today in the west and south of Kazakhstan. 

High wind and fog are expected locally. 

Heavy snow, ice-slick and ground blizzard were in store for Kazakhstan on Monday, December 9.
