Six innovation facilities launched during teleconference in Almaty
TALDYKORGAN. June 28. KAZINFORM /Sandugash Duisenova/ - "During teleconference with the President six innovation facilities have been launched in Almaty region today", the Governor of the region Serik Umbetov said.
"This is a milk processing plant of Danon company, two soybean processing plants, plants on natural stone processing and the plant on production of disposable infusion systems. Besides, in accordance with the instructions of the President we started a long-term program of hydropower development in the region. Hydro-electric power station at Aksu River was reconstructed and put into operation. Hydro-electric power station at Issyk River was put into practice as well as two ones at Karatal River. We are about to complete the reconstruction of the fifth hydro-electric power station. 28 small hydro-electric power stations are to be built till 2016", S. Umbetov said.
Upon the completion of the presentation of the fifth hydro-electric power station at Karatal River was launched. The construction of it started in 2007, the cost is KZT 783 mln.
