Six А/ Н1N1 cases confirmed in Astana
ANA. July 24. KAZINFORM As of July 24, 2009 six people of Astana have been diagnosed with A/H1N1 influenza. Two of them - children - have been taken to the municipal infectious hospitals, the other 4 receive out-patient treatment. One more patient will be hospitalized today.
As the press service of the Healthcare Ministry informs, workers of sanitary-epidemiological surveillance together with five brigades of emergency ambulances made house-to-house examination of the contact persons in the evening yesterday. "2 contact persons were diagnosed with acute respiratory viral infection, but their parents refused of their hospitalization", a press release of the Ministry reads.
As of July 24, 2009 the condition of the contact people is satisfactory. For additional prophylactics and treatment of the infected people 5000 packs of Tamiflu have been delivered from Almaty to Astana.
