Single Economic Space extends opportunities of mutually beneficial cooperation

PETROPAVLOVSK. March 2. KAZINFORM Thanks to the Single Economic Space, created within the Customs Union between Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus, opportunities of mutually beneficial cooperation have increased significantly.

Volume of trade in North Kazakhstan region reached USD 615 million in 2011.  

North Kazakhstan established strong ties with Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, China, Turkey, and Ukraine. The total amount of the country's exported goods made USD 96 million.

Besides, last year North Kazakhstan akimat and Israeli businessmen signed a memorandum of beneficial cooperation.

Petropavlovsk and Hannover signed this February a memorandum of cooperation during the official visit of Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev to Germany.
