Since 2000 Kazakhstan's machine-building industry increased output 11-fold

ASTANA. February 15. KAZINFORM Since 2000, machine building industry in Kazakhstan increased production eleven-fold, Meiram Pshembayev, Chairman of the Union of Machine-Builders of Kazakhstan told a board meeting in the Majilis.
According to preliminary data, the volume of production in the machine building industry in Kazakhstan in 2011 amounted to KZT 500 billion, which exceeds the output of machine building industry in 2010, when it amounted to KZT 376 billion, by more than KZT 120 billion or almost 33 percent, Pshembayev said.
He recalled that in 2000 the volume of production in the machine building industry in Kazakhstan was KZT 45.8 billion.
