Significant geopolitical shifts to be achieved by the end of Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship: Lord Fraser of Carmyllie QC

ALMATY. April 27. KAZINFORM /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ "Kazakhstan is the first Asian, Muslim and post-soviet country chairing the OSCE. In this context, no one country in the world would be able to compete with the achievements of Kazakhstan", Member of the House of Lords and Chairman of the British-Kazakh Society Lord Fraser of Carmyllie QC has said at the Eurasian Media Forum today.

He noted that the OSCE has been an organization oriented at the European part for a long time. "I believe the OSCE should be extended. I would say that by the end of the Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship the authorities will look back and see that significant geopolitical shifts were achieved by the chairmanship", the British politician said.
