Shvedova and Garrigues into women's doubles quarterfinal in Madrid

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani tennis player Yaroslava Shvedova and Anabel Medina-Garrigues from Spain have sneaked into the women's doubles quarterfinal of the Mutua Madrid Open in Spain.
Shvedova and Garrigues devastated the much-fancied Russian duo Elena Makarova and Elena Vesnina in two straight sets 6:2, 6:2.
In the quarterfinal Shvedova and her partner will play against Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova (Russia) and Lucie Šafářová (Czech Republic).
