Seven hurt in sudden halt of escalator at Moscow metro

MOSCOW. April 15. KAZINFORM Seven people were hurt when an escalator at the Komsomolskaya Circular Station of the Moscow metro suddenly came to a halt. Four were taken to the hospital, the Moscow transport and road infrastructure department said, Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.
"An escalator going down at the Komsomolskaya Circular Station was halted by an emergency brake at 11:15 a.m. Moscow time on April 15. Seven people were hurt, and four of them were taken to the hospital," it said.
A metro commission is examining causes of the accident.
