SES prepares anti-crisis plan in case conditions in global markets deteriorate
ASTANA. May 23. KAZINFORM Single Economic Space member states are preparing an anti-crisis plan in case of deterioration of the situation in world markets, Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister Kairat Kelimbetov said at the VI meeting of CIS Finance Ministers' Standing Council on Wednesday in Astana.
"I think further and deeper integration will be a continuation of our collective response. In particular, within the framework of the Customs Union and SES we, at the ministerial level, are preparing an appropriate joint anti-crisis plan in case of deterioration of the situation in world markets," Kelimbetov noted.
At the same time the Vice Prime Minister reminded that despite fluctuations in the global economy, the situation in Kazakhstan in recent years has been more stable.
"In 2010, Kazakhstan's GDP grew by 7.3%, in 2011 by 7.5% and this year it is expected to grow by no less than 6%, that inspires optimism," he concluded.
