Service centre for BelAZ mining eq't will open in Karaganda

ASTANA. August 15. KAZINFORM The service center for mining equipment BelAZ will be created in Karaganda. The agreement has been reached during the visit of the delegation of the Minsk region, headed by Governor Boris Batura, to Karaganda oblast, BelTA informs.

In the Karaganda region there are more than 200 operating Belarusian dump trucks. Given the growing market for this technology in Kazakhstan, there are prospects to increase the supply of BelAZ, respectively, and the base is needed for servicing these cars. Therefore, in addition to all the agreements reached during the visit, permission of Karaganda oblast akim Baurjan Abdishev to allocate a piece of land for construction of the center for maintaining BelAZ machines.

Currently in Karaganda there functions a joint venture - "KazBelAZ" - to assemble Belarusian dump trucks of 45 tons. There took place a presentation of the first car, assembled at this enterprise. Just the day before the visit the Kazakh side was certified that this BelAZ dump is produced in Kazakhstan.

Minsk region has much to offer to its Kazakh partners. For example, during the visit the dealership contract for equipment maintenance of "AMKODOR" was under discussion, supplying to Kazakhstan equipment for dairy farms, and the new ways of Belarusian export flows of food have been outlined.

The Delegation of the Minsk region was on a return visit to the Karaganda region. In April 2013 to Belarus went akim of the region Baurjan Abdishev. The current event is a continuation of implementing the planned arrangements and to find new areas of cooperation.
