Senior official involved in road accident in North Kazakhstan region

ASTANA. January 16. KAZINFORM The automobile the governor of the North Kazakhstan region, Samat Eskendirov was traveling in got into car crash, regional police say.
"Mercedes Benz and Lada Priora vehicles collided on 951 km of the Zhezkazgan-Petropavl motorway Wednesday night. Mr. Eskendirov, the governor of the region, was in one of the cars, when the accident happened. As a result, a female passenger was slightly wounded.
An investigation has been initiated. The police have registered 10 road accidents in the region since the beginning of 2014.
