Senators to mull bill concerning agr't between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan on state border checkpoints
ASTANA. October 3. KAZINFORM At today's meeting of the Senate Bureau, chaired by Kairat Mami, Majilis-approved draft laws were submitted to the committees and Senate secretariat.
According to the Senate press service, the Finance and Budget Committee was appointed as the main committee for further development of the draft law "On amendments to some legislative acts of Kazakhstan on regulation of the banking activity and financial organizations with regard to minimization of risks".
Besides, the Bureau debated proposals concerning the agenda of the Senate regular meeting set for October 6, 2011. It is planned to discuss draft law "On amendments to the Law of Kazakhstan "On republican budget for 2011-2013", draft law on ratification of the Protocol to the intergovernmental agreement between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan on check-points on the Kazakh-Uzbek stat border as of November 16, 2001, also amendments to the laws in force on organized crime control, and ecology.
