Senators ratify treaty on int'l wanted persons within CIS

ASTANA. September 26. KAZINFORM - The plenary session of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan has adopted Law "On ratification of the treaty of Commonwealth of Independent States on the international wanted persons".

The purpose of the agreement is to create a legal framework for cooperation of the CIS member-states in international wanted persons' detection. The document will enhance the effectiveness of the fight against crime, establish a mechanism for collaboration and ensure rapid exchange of information on the international wanted persons. Ratification of the agreement will not require additional funds from the national budget.
