Senators approve bill on providing office space for Palestinian Embassy in Kazakhstan

ASTANA. December 10. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ Today the Kazakh Senate has approved draft Law "On ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the State of Palestine on providing office space for free use in the city of Astana for needs of the Embassy of the State of Palestine in the Republic of Kazakhstan" at a plenary session.

According to the Senate's Committee on International Affairs, Defense and Security this Agreement is aimed at strengthening traditional friendly relations between the two countries as well as ensuring appropriate conditions of stay and work of the Palestinian Embassy in Kazakhstan. In accordance with the Agreement, the Kazakh side renders an office building and adjacent areas located in the capital for free use for three years to the Palestinian embassy.
