Senate Vice speaker held talks with Kuwait National Assembly's delegation
ASTANA. June 25. KAZINFORM Vice speaker of the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament Mukhambet Kopeyev has held negotiations with a delegation of the National Assembly of Kuwait headed by chairman of "Kuwait-Kazakhstan" friendship group Walid Al-Tabtabai today, the press service of the Senate reports.
M.Kopeyev emphasized the importance of this visit for further development of the Interparliamentary contacts and significance of public diplomacy in development of interstate relations.
Concerning the foreign priorities of Kazakhstan M.Kopeyev informed on the active participation of our country in outstanding international structures and told about the initiatives of Astana on promotion of the global intercivilizational and interreligious dialogue and tolerance.
Walid Al-Tabtabai said that the visit would be an important step toward activation of cooperation between the legislative bodies of two states.
The Deputy of the National Assembly of Kuwait highly appraised the achievements of our country in the filed of tolerance and interreligious accord and complimented the leading role of our country in Central Asian region and Arab world.
