Senate Speaker receives Ambassador of Georgia and UN Resident Coordinator
ASTANA. January 24. KAZINFORM - Senate Speaker Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has received the Ambassador of Georgia to Kazakhstan Zurab Pataradze, this has been reported by the press service of the Senate.
The Ambassador informed the Speaker about the domestic political and socio- economic development of Georgia as well as the implementation of joint investment projects with Kazakhstan.
K.Tokayev has invited the Georgian MPs to visit Kazakhstan to familiarize themselves with the modern development of the country. Senate Speaker told the Georgian diplomat about the main provisions of the Kazakh President's Address to the people of Kazakhstan.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has also met with the UN Resident Coordinator, Permanent Representative of the UN Development Programme in Kazakhstan Stephen Tull. The two sides discussed topical issues of cooperation between Kazakhstan and the United Nations. S.Tull informed the Speaker of the Senate on UNDP activities in our country.
