Senate Speaker K. Tokayev received Vice PM of Israel A. Liberman
ASTANA. October 13. KAZINFORM Chairman of the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev received Vice Prime Minister of Israel Avigdon Liberman in Astana today.
Issues of strengthening bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Israel including inter-parliamentary dialogue were discussed at the meeting, Kazinform refers to the Senate's press service.
Having noted dynamic development of the bilateral relations, Tokayev pointed out importance of activation of the ties between Kazakh and Israeli parliaments.
As is known, "Kazakhstan-Israel" Friendship League functions in the Senate.
According to the Speaker, the Senate will take every effort for legislative provision of the relations in political, trade-economic spheres, culture, education and healthcare.
K. Tokayev extended an invitation to Chairman of the Israeli Knesset Reuven Rivlin to visit Kazakhstan at any convenient time.
The Diplomat in turn highly appraised the role of inter-parliamentary ties purposed at promotion of interaction in all directions.
