Senate ratifies Protocol on amendments to Treaty on CU Customs Code

ANA. June 10. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Kazakh senate has adopted the Law "On ratification of the Protocol on amendments to the Treaty on the Customs Code of the Customs Union as of November 27, 2009" at a plenary session.
"The Protocol contains amendments to 152 articles of the Customs Code of the Customs Union", Minister of Finance Bolat Zhamishev has said introducing the bill.
According to the Minister, specification of a 'common customs area' definition, application of the national customs legislation in the common customs area, and etc. are among important amendments.
