Senate ratifies Agr't on training personnel for anti-terrorist units of SCO member states
ASTANA. March 31. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Kazakh Senate has adopted the Law "On ratification of the Agreement on Training Personnel for the Anti-Terrorist Units of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO)."
"The Agreement was signed on the instruction of the heads of state by chiefs of the security agencies at the SCO Summit on June 16, 2009. The document forms legal frameworks and a specific mechanism of realization of cooperation of the SCO appropriate authorities in training personnel for anti-terrorist units," Deputy Chairman of the National Security Committee Zhanat Zharassov said.
He stressed that the Agreement provides planned training of specialists taking into account the needs of the parties on the bilateral and multilateral basis.
