Senate invites the Netherlands to participate in Kazakhstan's industrial innovative development
ASTANA. October 1. KAZINFORM Today, Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament Alexander Sudyin has met with former Chairman of the Dutch Senate, Senator Rene van der Linden to discuss the development of bilateral relations and interparliamentary ties between Kazakhstan and the Netherlands.
The parliaments of the two countries have co-operation groups. Kazakh and Dutch MPs actively cooperate within the framework of the OSCE, Council of Europe, NATO.
According to Sudyin, increasing contacts between the groups of co-operation will facilitate the exchange of legislative experience in formation of a bilateral legal framework on all aspects of bilateral relations.
"Kazakhstan and the Netherlands have a great potential in strengthening economic cooperation," Sudyin noted. He called on the Dutch side for active participation in the state program of industrial-innovative development of Kazakhstan.
Rene van der Linden stressed the important role of "parliamentary diplomacy" in the development of bilateral relations and expressed confidence "in further strengthening of cooperation between the parliaments of Kazakhstan and the Netherlands at a good, constructive level."
