Senate Deputies discussed establishment of food belt of Astana
ANA. October 5. KAZINFORM Issues of realization of the program aimed at the establishment of the food belt of Astana were discussed within the visit of the agricultural enterprises of Akmola region by the Senate Deputies, Kazinform refers to the press service of the House.
According to Head of the Committee on agrarian issues and environment protection Yevgeniy Amanov, successful realization of the food project will provide sustainability of the vertically integrated system of production, reprocessing, storage and sale of food products.
Within the discussion of the issues of further development of the agro-industrial sector of the country the importance of the state support of the sector was stressed.
Y.Amanov reminded on the provisions of the Law "On food security" that is discussed at the Parliament now. New approaches of state regulation of the issues of agro-industrial complex of the country received legislative recognition within the frameworks of the document.
