Senate Committee ratified agreement on land provision for Saudi Arabia's Embassy constructing in Astana

ASTANA. December 27. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ The Committee on Foreign Relations, Defense and Security of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan approved draft law 'On ratification of the agreement between the Governments of Kazakhstan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on provision of land for constructing the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Astana'.
According to the document Kazakhstan will provide land area of 1.8 hectares on the street Karasaz for free use for 49 years to Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia, in its turn, provides land area of 1.2 hectares located in the diplomatic Quarter of Riyadh to Kazakhstan.
