Senate Chairman met with Chinese Ambassador to Kazakhstan Zhou Li

The issues of further strengthening the Kazakh-Chinese bilateral relations, including at the level of interparliamentary interaction, were discussed at the meeting.

K.Mami outlined dynamics of the relations development between Kazakhstan and China and emphasized that the strategic partnership is characterized by the high level of confidence. "A key role in development and strengthening cooperation between our countries belongs to leaders of the two countries Nursultan Nazarbayev and Hu Jintao," the Senate Chairman said.

"We pay great significance to an upcoming visit of Wu Bangguo, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress. His visit will promote not only activation of the interparliamentary dialog, but strengthening of the ties on all directions of interstate relations," K.Mami noted.

Conveying greetings from Wu Bangguo, Zhou Li spoke for further strengthening strategic partnership between the two states.

The Chinese diplomat agrees of K.Mami's estimation of the Kazakh-Chinese bilateral relations.
