Senate approved amendments to customs procedures acts
ASTANA. October 1. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The bill on amendments to some legislative acts of Kazakhstan on customs procedures was considered by Senate of the Kazakh Parliament at first reading today.
According to Acting Minister of Finance of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov the amendments were developed to bring existing forms of state control at access gate through the State boarder of Kazakhstan into line with requirements of Paragraph 3, Article 3 of International Convention "On alignment of terms for control of cargos on boarders".
"The quarantine and veterinary-sanitary types of control will be held by experts of authorized bodies posted to customs bodies", - A. Smailov said.
After the discussion the draft law was approved inthe first reading.
