Senate adopted amendments to national budget for 2011-2013

ASTANA. February 25. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Senate of the Kazakh Parliament adopted the Law "On amendments to the Law of Kazakhstan "On the National Budget for 2011-2013" at the plenary session today. In accordance with the Law the national budget expenditures were increased by KZT 301.3 bln and made KZT 4 trln 945.1 bln.
Minister of Finance Bolat Zhamishev informed that the increase in budget expenditures was formed from the additional revenue and funds remaining unspent in 2010.
The budget deficit makes KZT 695.8 bln or 2.9% of the GDP increasing by KZT 93.3 bln.
The amendments to the national budget for 2011 were introduced in order to realize the tasks set by the President in his annual Address to the Nation.
