Senate adopted amendments to legislation on customs regulation and taxation

ASTANA. June 10. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Today at the plenary session the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament has considered and adopted the Law On amendments to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on customs regulation and taxation.
The bill was developed in order to bring the Kazakhstani legislation into compliance with the provisions of the Code on Customs Affairs in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Minister of Finances Bolat Zhamishev said presenting the document.
According to the Minister, the Administrative Code of the country has been amended, in particular, in the part providing for administrative responsibility for violations in customs affairs. In whole, 38 legislative acts will be amended, B. Zhamishev noted.
