Seminar of Kazakhstan's integration into world community held in Karaganda

The representatives of the local authorities and businessmen took part in the seminar. It was organized by the Center for Trade Policy Development under the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Kazakhstan.

The issues of the Customs Union formation, principles and rules of accession to the WTO as well as the existing mechanisms of import protection were discussed. According to the organizers, the seminar was aimed at raising the level of public awareness about integration processes, particularly the peculiarities of the Customs Union formation. A serious of analogous seminars was held in other regions of Kazakhstan earlier.
