Semei businessman fakes a robbery to lay hands on KZT 9,5 mln
ASTANA. October 13. KAZINFORM - In Semei of East Kazakhstan region the entrepreneur tried to simulate a robbery and to assign 9.5 million tenge, which he was transferred according to the conditions of the tender.
"The fact that he was robbed by an unknown man the businessman informed about late October. In the words of a 'victim', near the bank where he was getting money a man unknown to him seized his bag full of money", said the official representative of Interrnal Affairs Ministry Mr. Oraz at a briefing in Astana.
According to him, the money was transferred to the entrepreneur to meet the conditions of the tender, but the businessman decided to avoid obligations that way. "At the time, he and his 20-year-old co-defendant, who portrayed the robber, are under arrest. Criminal case has been initiated", the official of the Ministry said.
