Second bomb threat in two days hits Almaty hotel

TANA. August 29. KAZINFORM 50 people were evacuated from the hotel 'Consul" in Almaty following an anonymous call on bomb threat; Kazinform refers to the Emergencies Ministry's press service.
The department of emergencies of Almaty city received the call at 1:07 a.m. on Monday, August 29.
In the course of special operation involving 7 officers and 2 units of emergency equipment no device was found.
The hotel was evacuated on August 27 after a similar warning. A police search found no evidence of a bomb.
