Sec of Kazakh Security Council, UN SecGen's Special Rep met in Astana

ASTANA. June 27. KAZINFORM Secretary of the Kazakh Security Council Marat Tazhin met with UN Secretary-General's Special Representative for Afghanistan Jan Kubis on Wednesday (June 27) at Akorda Presidential Residence in Astana.
During the meeting the sides touched upon the pressing issues of security and strengthening of the international cooperation.
They also exchanged views on the possible development of events in the Central Asian region after withdrawal of NATO troops from Afghanistan. The parties emphasized the role UN played in the long and complex process of stabilization of the situation in Afghanistan and ensuring security all over the globe.
