SCO judges to meet in Astana

The meeting will address improvement and assessment of the courts' activities, selection and appointment of judges, transparency of justice, use of information and communications technologies in court proceedings, and issues concerning administration of justice. Those attending are expected to sign a joint statement on strengthening cooperation and partnership in an effort to promote supremacy of law, protection of human rights and basic freedoms.
