SCO emergencies ministers met in Tashkent

TASHKENT. April 22. KAZINFORM /Kurmat Samarkhan/ V session of the emergencies ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states took place in Tashkent on April 21.
The ministers of emergencies of Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan took part in it. They reported on the major emergency situations, which occurred in the SCO states last year as well as measures taken to prevent such situations. The sides exchanged opinions on the prospects of further cooperation in the field of prevention and mitigation of emergencies within the framework of the Organization.
The session was finished with the signing of the protocol.
