Science Fund of Ministry of Education of Kazakhstan implements 21 scientific projects
ASTANA. February 12. KAZINFORM "Science Fund" JSC of the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan implements 21 scientific projects in Kazakhstan which are aimed at practical application of research work, Chairman of the Fund Kuatzhan Ualiyev informed at the briefing on development of innovations.
"As of January 1, 2013, the Fund implements 21 projects and 17 innovative and 4 projects on a repayable basis are among them," K. Ualiyev said.
The Head of the Fund noted that as a result of implementation of 22 projects, 15 licenses and 3 author's certificates are received and 6 applications are submitted to the National Institute of Intellectual Property of the Committee of Intellectual Property Rights of the Ministry of Justice Kazakhstan.
Presently, the Fund renders support to the projects of "Zhalyn" Center which is engaged in development of cable products with new characteristics.
Besides, the fund will begin implementation of the projects on construction of the Biopharmaceutical Plant on production of bio products in the nearest time. The design capacity of the plant is up to 10 mln doses a year.
It should be noted that the plant will be producing vaccines against influenza, poliomyelitis, and brucellosis.
