Schools, kindergartens under repair in N Kazakhstan

PETROPAVLOVSK. KAZINFORM - North Kazakhstan authorities have earmarked nearly KZT 41 million for repair of schools and kindergartens in Petropavlovsk this year, according to expert of the city's education department Alexander Ivanov.

"Secondary and pre-school educational institutions of Petropavlovsk are repaired on a yearly basis. In 2013, local authorities allotted KZT 120 million to that end. KZT 41 million have been channeled into repair works this year," Ivanov said. In total, 8 schools and 10 kindergartens will be repaired this year. KZT 19.5 million and KZT 21 million have been allotted for capital and minor repairs of Petropavlovsk-based educational institutions respectively.
