School student from Taraz won gold at 45th International Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad in Moscow

ASTANA. May 3. KAZINFORM Abylay Shakhizadayev, a school student from Taraz which is the regional centre of Zhambyl oblast, won a gold medal at the 45th International Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad among schoolchildren of the Baltic States, the CIS, Romania, Bulgaria and Macedonia held in Moscow on April 24-30.
According to the press service of Daryn Republican Scientific Centre, among the silver winners of the Olympiad are Vladimir Dolzhnikov (North Kazakhstan region), Yernur Tolep (Zhambyl region), Miras Bekbergenmov (Astana) and Nurbek Serikuly (Zhambyl region).
Bronze medals were awarded to Daler Baidilov (Pavlodar region), Murat Sultanov (Almaty) and Azim Amanzholov (Astana).
