School caught fire in Atyrau region

ASTANA. May 16. KAZINFORM An old school building went up in flames today in Atyrau region, the press service of the Kazakh Ministry of Emergencies reports. The fire destroyed area of 300 square meters. No casualties were reported. 11 firemen and two units of the fire service equipment of the region worked at the scene.
Another fire accident happened in Almaty district in Astana. A fire broke out in a basement of a six-storeyed house. The fire covered an area of seven square meters. A 20-year-old man had carbon monoxide poisoning and was hospitalized. 12 firefighters and three units of the city's emergency department extinguished the fire.
