Saudi Arabian delegation to negotiate with heads of several ministries and SamrukKazyna Fund
ASTANA. June 23. KAZINFORM Representatives of the Saudi Arabian governmental and business circles take part in Astana economic forums second year in a row.
This year a Saudi Arabian delegation headed by Deputy Minister for Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mr. Abdullah Al-Hamoudi. Within the visit it is planned to hold negotiations with heads of the Kazakh Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, Ministry of Agriculture and Samruk Kazyna National Welfare Fund JSC.
The sides will discuss the issues of further development of trade-economic and investment cooperation, including active participation of the Saudi Arabian investors in projects implementation in the agroindustrial complex within the framework of execution of commissions of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz on ensuring food safety of Saudi Arabia.
It is expected that representatives of the Saudi Fund for Development will make their proposals on realization of infrastructural projects in Kazakhstan within the framework of the Road Map program as well as on financing of various export operations.
A delegation of the Islamic Development Bank will come for participation in the Astana Economic Forum. Last year it contributed funds amounting to USD 271 mln for Kazakhstan's economy development. At present the sides consider opportunity of financing of the second stage of reconstruction of the international transit corridor "Western Europe-Western China" in Kazakhstan.
