Sarkozy supports idea of holding OSCE summit in Astana
ANA. October 6. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ President of France Nicolas Sarkozy supports the idea of holding the OSCE summit in Astana. The President said it during the talks in extended format in Akorda Palace.
As the French Leader noted, one-day trip is not enough to cover all issues. "I will return to Kazakhstan for the OSCE summit to be organized in Astana", he added.
According to N. Sarcozy, he will visit Kazakhstan within the Sarkozy-Nazarbayev Commission created today. The Commission will hold sittings once a year in France or in Kazakhstan.
Nicolas Sarkozy arrived in Kazakhstan today morning. Bilateral meetings are being held in the Presidential Residence at present. The Heads of the State are to take part in a business forum, lay flowers to the monument of the Motherland defenders and get familiarized with Astana master plan.
