Sarkozy officially announces his decision to run for re-election

PARIS. February 16. KAZINFORM French President Nicolas Sarkozy officially announced his decision on Wednesday, February 15, to run for re-election.
The president made the statement on TF-1 television.
According to Itar-Tass, the first round of the election is scheduled for April 22.
