Samruk-Energo puts 3 assets for sale
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - A comprehensive plan of privatization has touched virtually all spheres of activity of the National Welfare Fund "Samruk-Kazyna".
It is planned that 106 objects of the group of companies of the fund will be sold before 2020. Despite the crisis risks in the global economy, the investment attractiveness of the assets is confirmed by the interest not only Kazakhstan but foreign businesses. According to the press service of LLP "Samruk-Kazyna contract", in 2014, Samruk-Kazyna put out for tender 59 assets. Privatization terms of 5 assets have been transferred for 2016. To date, 24 companies are sold for 24 billion tenge. 24 February three assets included in the group of companies of "Samruk-Energo" were put for tender. The assets include 100% of shares of JSC "Aktobe TPP", 75% plus 1 share of JSC "Mangystau electricity distribution company" and 100% of JSC "East Kazakhstan regional energy company". Application deadline for participation in the tender is scheduled for April 24.
