Samruk-Energo, China International Water & Energy Corp sign memo

The purpose of the document is to promote collaboration and investment in the power sector of Kazakhstan. Special attention was paid to the development of renewable energy sources and implementation of projects aimed at providing the southern region of Kazakhstan with electricity. In particular, the document specifies the basic parameters for the enhancement of Sheleksky region and diversion of runoff flow of the Kensu River to Bestyubinsk reservoir.
