Sales turnover between Kazakhstan, Poland made $777M in 2014
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan Yerbolat Dossayev has held a meeting with his counterpart Minister of Economy of Poland Janusz Piechociński in Astana today, the ministry's press service said.
The sides debated the issues of commercial and economic relations and prospects of development of investment cooperation between Kazakhstan and Poland. "Poland is Kazakhstan's prospective economic partner in Eastern Europe and we see it as a gateway to the European market," Minister Dossayev noted at the meeting. "The Government of Kazakhstan adopted a stimulus package to attract direct foreign investments," he added. He also stressed that within the framework of the new economic policy "Nurly zhol - Path to the future" initiated by President Nursultan Nazarbayev Kazakhstan will step up work on a number of investment projects. Sales turnover between Kazakhstan and Poland totaled $777.7 million in January-September 2014.
