ASTANA. KAZINFORM "Kazakhstan's foreign trade turnover with the Customs Union member states dropped by 22,4% for the past seven months," head of the Kazakh Statistics Committee Alikhan Smailov told a briefing in Astana.
"The total trade decreased, mainly, due to slowing down of Russian economy and, correspondingly, decrease in demand for export products of Kazakhstan," he added. Sales over January-July 2014 with the CU members reached USD 10 bln 739 mln that is 22,4% less as compared to the same period of the previous year.
