Sadyr Zhaparov receives Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan

During the meeting, Sadyr Zhaparov noted with satisfaction the positive dynamics in the development of bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye in the entire range of areas.

At the same time, the sides discussed the planned visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Kyrgyzstan, as well as the holding of a meeting of the Supreme Council for Strategic Cooperation between the two countries within the framework of it.

Speaking about trade and economic cooperation, the head of state emphasized the importance of the upcoming meeting of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission in Ankara in terms of promoting the economic agenda.

In addition, the sides discussed a number of other issues on both the bilateral agenda and multilateral cooperation, including in the field of healthcare, energy and financial sectors, as well as regional security.

In turn, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan expressed gratitude to Sadyr Zhaparov for his hospitality. He emphasized that thanks to the joint efforts of the leaders of the two countries, significant results have been achieved in expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in recent years.

At the end of the meeting, the head of state conveyed warm greetings to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
